We have also tested our products around the globe and they exceed every common benchmark for strength and durability. In fact, our roofs are fire and earthquake safe, hail and wind resistant and will never warp or rust like other materials. Even in an area prone to severe weather events like hail or cyclones our roofs will stand the test of time.
Made from highest quality materials
Made from highly regarded pure New Zealand steel and the highest quality stone, our ISO 9001 manufacturing facility, upholds the highest standards from product sourcing, through manufacturing to delivery of materials and beyond.
The steel is coated with Zincalume, combining the corrosion protection of aluminium with the sacrificial protection of zinc to create an alloy that's ideal for roofing and with a serviceable life that far exceeds galvanised products and other roofing materials.
Our tiles are painted once they have been pressed and formed. This ensures that the paint doesn't fracture or crack during the forming process. Our tiles go through an extensive Quality Assurance process and our coating technology makes for the extremely long serviceable life.
Installed by experts
With Tilcor we go above and beyond to make sure our authorised installers are trained to our standards. This includes unique on site training and assessment of roofing contractors out in the field to make sure that they have the skills and understanding required to install a Tilcor roof.

Integrated Vents
Ventilation is an important part of any home, whether it be for bathrooms or kitchens, or for roof space ventilation, more and more people are look towards better solutions. Traditionally installing a vent meant penetrating the roof structure, increasing this risk of leaks. To avoid such risks and to improve the overall aesthetic of a home, we have developed a range of vents that integrate with our roofing system, avoiding the need for roof penetrations.
Environmental Benefits
Sustainable
We take the environmental responsibilities seriously and focus on our operation activities to improve energy efficiency and sustainability in the building industry. Tilcor Panels are made from the most recycled building material in the world, steel. Steel is infinitely recyclable so unlike other roofing products it will continue to be reused over and over again. Making a Tilcor roof one of the most sustainable roofing options available.
Best thermal performance and energy efficiency
Tilcor roofs are known as “cool roofs”. This means they have the ability to cut building owners’ energy costs because they reduce the need for air conditioning.
Tilcor roofing products are designed to be elevated from the roof deck which creates a natural air flow referred to as “Above Sheathing Ventilation”(ASV). This ventilation prevents heat gain in the summer and heat loss in the winter. In addition to proper attic insulation, this can help lower electric costs associated with heating/cooling.
The combination between our steel panels and ASV have seen customers achieve 30% reductions in the energy bills.
Potable Water
Tilcor roofs have been tested and meet the World Health Organisation standards for water run off, meaning you can drink water from a Tilcor roof, some other petroleum based roofing products can break down and become toxic after a few years.
Profiles and colors perfectly suited to UK Buildings
Our profiles have been inspired by the roofs that shaped the world. With our range of profiles and colours we are sure to have something to deliver your vision. Equally at home with a heritage look or contemporary new builds.
